K.A.R.A.T.E. Keep A Right Attitude Towards Education sets the theme for our school, Wilson International School Karate (WISKFMA).
Our programs are designed for the development of the mind and body as a whole by using the physical and philosophical aspects of martial arts.
Having the right attitude allows us to grow and take advantage of every opportunity that life offers. We bring people from
different backgrounds together regardless of their race, social economic status, age, gender, and color.
WISKFMA is associated with the Black Karate Federation and the Worldwide Martial Arts Federation.
About
Wilson International School Karate Soo Bahk Do
Great Grandmaster Owens-Wilson began his martial arts training in 1972 and quickly grew in both skill and knowledge in the martial arts. Following a tour of duty as a U.S. Army Specialist, he continued his training, eventually joining The Green Machines, a fighting team created by Grandmaster Jacky King. It was during this time that Owens-Wilson earned his nickname, “The Machine.”
Over the course of his career, Great-Grandmaster Owens-Wilson has studied under a number of highly respected martial arts masters. In 2014 Grandmaster Owens-Wilson was inducted into the International Karate & Kickboxing Hall of Fame. He is the founder of WISKFMA (Wilson International School of Family Martial Arts), a member of the Black Karate Federation (BKF), and Universal Systems All Options Ken Boc Ryu.
